Need a proofreader?

I’m a writer who, from July 27 until further notice, am open to proofreading or beta reading jobs. The aim of this is both to develop skills and raise money for my work. Previously, I have proofread and co-written fanfictions and online portfolios.
I’d prefer to work on short stories, novels, and fanfictions as these are more relevant to my own work, however I have experience proofreading online portfolios that are strictly informative.
Similar to a developmental editor, I am likely to send you a copy of your manuscript with some notes before the deadline as your personal views, intentions, and knowledge are important. This is more common with fanfiction and non-fiction, but it’s possible with all projects. I will then return to it for the final touches. All projects will be checked for AI and plagiarism before I start work on them. If I am concerned by the result, I will notify you immediately.
Please let me know in advance if you want me to leave out a specific grammar technique (I love an Oxford comma), and send your manuscript with accompanying notes on target audience, key themes, and intentions (whether it is going to be shared online or published).
We will discuss price based on the length of your work and type of work it is, but I’ve created this as an extremely basic deadline:
Short stories (approx 5k words) proof-only will take 2 weeks and cost approx £20. I will check grammar, spelling, readability, facts, and word choice.
Short stories (approx 5k words) proof and beta will take 21 days and cost approx £30. I will check grammar, spelling, readability, facts, word choice, structure, and entertainment factor (based on your target audience).
Novels (approx 10k words) proof OR beta (difference indicated in the short-story plans) will take 45 days and cost approx £40. I will do everything detailed above, and read your story through at least twice.
